Here's the Triple Yahtzee game I wrote for the Macintosh ages ago. It's freeware, and should work on any Macintosh running System 7 or newer. It's got animation, sounds, a help window featuring a necessarily lengthy explanation of the ever-mysterious "Yahtzee Bonus", and much, much more. No one has yet complained that it wasn't worth the price.
Note that the oldest copies of this game list "jsullivan@aol.com" as my e-mail address in the About Box. That address is now defunct. Newer copies list "sullivan@spies.com". That address is also now defunct (though as of this writing it will still be forwarded to me). Nowadays you can reach me at john@wildherps.com.
And for you programming types, here's the source code. Feel free to download it, mess around with it, write version 4.0, whatever. The first link is to a StuffIt archive containing the original source files created by the old THINK Pascal product. The second link is to a .zip archive in which the source files have all been converted to plain text, so even if you don't have THINK Pascal (and few do nowadays), you can still fiddle around with this source code. A huge thank-you to Eric Slosser for digging up a working copy of THINK Pascal and converting the sources to plain text, a feat that I had not managed to accomplish myself.
If you do manage to do anything interesting with this source code, I'd love to hear about it. People occasionally ask me whether I've made an OS X native version or a Windows version. I doubt whether I will ever do this, but maybe you will someday?
Steven Estrella has written a version of Triple Yahtzee that runs on Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, and Windows. It's not the same in every detail as my game (and didn't use my source code), but it should satisfy your Triple Yahtzee cravings if you're on some platform where my game doesn't work.
