Anolis properus — Hispaniolan Gracile Anole
These lizards were formerly considered to be a subspecies of Anolis distichus. Now, they are considered to be a full species, part of the Anolis distichus species complex. I doubt whether this improves the day-to-day life of the lizards themselves, but maybe they hold their heads just a little bit higher.
