Boana pellucens
—
Palmar Tree Frog
Also known as:
Transparent Tree Frog
This mid-sized treefrog is found to the west of the Andes in Ecuador. We saw them first in the famous cloud forests of Mindo.
We saw several more at much lower elevation in the Chocó. They are all greenish, with some red spots and marks on the flanks, but they vary quite a bit in hue and pattern.
