Erdelen’s Horned Lizard (Ceratophora erdeleni) Erdelen’s Horned Lizard (Ceratophora erdeleni)
Of the five species of Ceratophora, all endemic to Sri Lanka, this is the only one with nothing funny on its nose. (See what I mean?) Yet it is still laden with the name "Horned Lizard". If I were naming it, I think I'd choose "Hornless Horned Lizard".

Erdelen’s Horned Lizard (Ceratophora erdeleni)
We were lucky to see two of these while we were in their small known range. (Well, at least I was lucky; my guide Udaya Chanaka, who found both of these, might just have been good.) This one is an adult, whereas the one from two days earlier was a juvenile.
