Emoia similis Dunn’s Emoia

One of these smallish attractive lined skinks was speeding around on the trunk of a tree, desperately avoiding my camera. It kept dashing under and out from partly peeled bark. The Komodo ranger decided to help me by peeling a piece of bark off. The skink had already managed to vanish, but there was a large and fast-moving spider on that particular piece of bark, which ran up towards the ranger's hand in the split-second before the ranger dropped the bark. I never did get a picture of the skink, but as a consolation prize I took a picture of the spider.
