Ambilobe Dwarf Gecko (Lygodactylus expectatus)
This tiny little gecko was hopping around on the tsingy nervously, and not interested in posing in the open for a photograph. The black spot on the shoulder helps identify it as Lygodactylus expectatus.

Ambilobe Dwarf Gecko (Lygodactylus expectatus)
This was one of the smallest lizards I've ever seen, less than an inch and a half long, with much of that being tail. It hopped between a tree trunk and a nearby rock like a little cricket. I had to chase it around for at least ten minutes before it would sit still long enough for a photo.
