Amongst numerous Tree Skinks on this trail, I got a glimpse of one or two that seemed a little different. They moved more smoothly, and seemed to be slightly different proportions. But each time I saw one it was in the process of sliding out of view. Then I turned a corner on the trail and saw this one at the side of the trail, just begging me to take its photo.
The cream-colored margin around the eyes is distinctive for the genus Liopholis. The haughty stare might be more of an individual thing.

Here's a youngster who loves its rocky perch sooooo much!
