Siren Glassfrog
Also known as:
Rio Coca Cochran Frog
We waded back and forth across a fast-moving stream several times to get good looks at a decent number of these pretty glass frogs, including several amplexing pairs. Amphibians of Ecuador says that the specific name “siren” is an “allusion to the calls of these frogs that entice biologists to the nocturnal perils of streams”, so that tracks.
