Pristimantis conspicillatus
—
Chirping Robber Frog
Also known as:
Amazonian Rainfrog
This species is pretty generic looking, but the strong facial mask, small but present dorsolateral ridges, and slightly darker markings between the eyes and on the back and legs are good clues to its identity
This is a common and widespread species in the Amazon rainforests of Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil.
