Bolitoglossa dofleini
—
Giant Palm Salamander
Also known as:
Doflein’s Mushroomtongue Salamander

This was by far the largest of the Bolitoglossa species I encountered in Guatemala (or anywhere else). It was nearly the size of a giant adult Dicamptodon (sounds like a dinosaur, right?), but the oh-so-adorable extremely webbed feet give it away as an arboreal Bolitoglossa.
Here is a list of all the reptiles and frogs I saw on this trip to Guatemala.
